Marco Mencoboni, MANO D’OPERA, 2013

Title: Mano d’Opera
Artist: Marco Mencoboni
Curator: Marcello Smarrelli
Company: Elica
Event: Concert–performance
Location: Fabriano – Elica’s Headquarters
Year: 2013

Mano d’Opera is the title of the performance concert conceived and curated by Marco Mencoboni – musician and art director of Cantar Lontano Festival – for Consorzio Marche Spettacolo (CMS), with FEC. The event took place on December 19th, 2013 at Elica’s Headquarters in Fabriano.

The core of this project is the interaction between musicians and workers: a new and visionary challenge that featured the Canalgrande Adriatic Baroque Orchestra arch quartet and involved some Elica’s employees. The stage was set up in the Elica logistic center, within a dismantled production line and transformed the environment by bringing the audience to a theatric dimension for listening.

Mano d’Opera was realized with the participation of the Nuova Musica di Macerata Association, Ancona AdriaticoMediterraneo Festival, Rossini Opera Festival, and Fondazione Symbola.
