Our director Deborah Carè joined ContemporaneaMarche, an event that took place on Friday, June 24th, 2016 at Centro Arti Visive Pescheria in Pesaro and was organized by Regione Marche – Culture Department with the purpose of promoting a dialog with institutions and contemporary art stakeholders operating in the Marche area; this has triggered a shared process for creating a network of the most interesting contexts that leads to building a precise contemporary identity of Marche.

By identifying ten sectorial categories, the Region authorities invited the relevant spokespeople to summarize a project proposal. FEC director, Deborah Carè, as the Foundations spokesperson, asked the Regional authorities to act as a bridge to fill the regional-international gap, and to turn into a reference for the different (public and private) stakeholders operating on the local level; this would allow them to interacting with the Italian Culture Institutes network abroad. Our art director, Marcello Smarrelli, coordinated the meeting.
